Vallarta/Riviera Nayarit siguen estando entre los 10 destinos favoritos para vacacionar en nuestro país.
Disfrutamos de un verano verdaderamente fabuloso en Puerto Vallarta. Esta es la temporada del año que más me gusta para vivir en esta ciudad: las montañas se cubren de una  exuberante vegetación y por la tarde, las envuelve una mágica nube que anuncia las intensas lluvias que caen al anochecer; los ríos vuelven a la vida y con esto un sinfín de aves alegran cada despertar, con la energía que solo esta época te puede dar para emprender actividades al aire libre y explorar todas las opciones de ecoturismo que tiene la Bahía y que se encuentran al alcance de todos.
Por otra parte, también se vigorizaron las actividades sociales y culturales, que entusiasmaron la agenda VIP. En esta edición les presentamos los eventos más sobresalientes de nuestra comunidad, día a día más dinámica e incluyente.
Es, pues, digno de todo el júbilo, que Puerto Vallarta y Riviera Nayarit tuvieron este año, una magnifica ocupación hotelera, con lo que cumplieron y superaron con creces las predicciones que indicaban una notable recuperación de turistas, con un alta hotelera de 90 y 100%. Los pronósticos prevén la consolidación de estos destinos durante el 2014, que estiman, igualarán las ocupaciones de cuartos de hotel y número de visitantes del 2008, uno de los mejores años del turismo para México.
Un factor determinante fueron los vuelos de Delta, como de US Airways y United, que arribaron al destino a su máxima capacidad, lo que resulta positivo, toda vez que este es un periodo en el cual se recibe más visitantes nacionales que extranjeros.
Vaya una felicitación general, puesto que la recuperación del destino ha sido posible por el ánimo de concordia con el que sorteamos la crisis: gobierno, iniciativa privada y comunidad, de tal suerte que las buenas cifras son el resultado de una ardua labor de todos los que vivimos en este maravilloso destino: profesionales de promoción, habitantes y visitantes que contribuyeron a la promoción positiva en diferentes medios, incluyendo redes sociales, con lo que sin duda, Vallarta/Riviera Nayarit siguen estando entre los 10 destinos favoritos para vacacionar en nuestro país. We enjoyed a really fabulous summer in Puerto Vallarta. This is the season of the year that I really like to live in this city: the mountains are covered in lush vegetation and in the afternoon, they get enveloped in magical clouds that announce the intense rains that fall in the evening; the rivers are brought back to life and with this a auger of birds rejoice each awakening, with the energy that only this season can give you, to undertake outdoor activities and explore all the options for ecotourism, that the bay has, which are within the reach of everyone.

On the other hand, the social and cultural activities that thrilled the VIP agenda also invigorated. In this issue we present the most outstanding and every day more dynamic and inclusive
events in our community. It is therefore, worthy of all the joy, that Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit had this year, a magnificent hotel occupancy, which met and far exceeded predictions indicating a remarkable recovery of tourists, with a hotel high of 90 and 100%. The forecasts predict the consolidation of these destinations during the 2014, and they estimate that it will match the occupations of hotel rooms and number of visitors of 2008, one of the best years of tourism for Mexico. A determining factor were the Delta, US Airways and United flights, who arrived at the destination to their maximum capacity, which is positive, since this is a period in which we get more national visitors than foreign ones. A general congratulation to all, since the recovery of our destination was made possible by the spirit of harmony with which we all avoid the crisis: government, private sector and community alike, so that the good figures are the result of a hard work of all who live in this wonderful destination: promotion professionals, residents and visitors that contributed to a positive promotion in different media, including social networks, with what undoubtedly Vallarta/Riviera Nayarit are still among the 10 favorite destinations for vacationing in our country.
