Editorial
Como ya es toda una tradición, esta edición está dedicada a la educación privada de nuestra comunidad.
El periodo de inscripciones de nuevos alumnos en colegios e institutos para el ciclo escolar 2014/2015  acaba de iniciar. Muchos niños entrarán por primera vez en el sistema educativo, preescolar o primaria; otros pasarán a la secundaria y preparatoria; algunos cambiarán de colegio por diversas circunstancias y los más grandes irán, por fin, a la Universidad. En cualquiera de los casos, elegir un centro educativo supone no solo una prioridad en la familia, sino también una enorme responsabilidad para los padres, sobre todo cuando el niño va al colegio  por primera vez. Esta decisión implica, en la mayoría de los casos, una elección que va a perdurar durante varios años.
 
En esta edición te presentamos los principales colegios y su oferta educativa, así como artículos y “tips” para preseleccionar de una manera útil y práctica las mejores opciones. Podrás dedicar más tiempo a visitar las opciones que sí cumplan con tus expectativas pues, lejos quedó el tiempo en que nos basamos en la recomendación de nuestros amigos o en el refrán que consignaba que el mejor colegio es el que está cerca de casa… Hoy en día, los niños tienen más necesidades y exigencias, mientras que la oferta educativa es tan variada, que sí, es posible encontrar el colegio ideal en aquel que complemente la educación y formación integral de nuestros hijos, que les inculque valores fundamentales, ya sea en materia de religión, ya en el deporte, el ambientalismo, la solidaridad social; más allá del nivel académico, los padres hoy en día tenemos la legítima preocupación de contribuir de la mejor manera con nuestra sociedad, formando hijos sanos, creativos, sensibles, fuertes y solidarios.
Una felicitación a todos los niños de 10 de 1ro de Primaria del presente ciclo escolar; con orgullo les presentamos a los niños más destacados de toda Bahía de Banderas.

As it is a tradition, this edition is dedicated to private education in our community. The enrollment of new students in colleges and institutes for the 2014/2015 school year has just started. Many children will start for the first time in the educational system, nursery or primary; others will go to middle and high school; some will change college due to different circumstances and the oldest will go, finally, to University. In either case, choosing an education center involves not only a priority in the family, but also a huge responsibility to parents, especially when the child goes to college for the first time. This decision involves, in most cases, a choice that will last for several years.
 
In this edition we present you the main colleges and their educational offer, as well as articles and «tips» to preselect the best options, in a useful and practical way You will be able to devote more time visiting the options that do meet your expectations, far gone is the time in which our choices were based on the recommendation of friends or the saying that stated that the best school is the one that is close to home…Today, children have more needs and requirements, while the educational offering is so varied, that yes,  it is possible to find the ideal school at that complements the comprehensive education and training of our children, that teach fundamental values, either in matters of religion, sport, environmentalism, social solidarity; beyond the academic level, parents today have the legitimate concern to contribute the best way with our society, forming healthy, creative, sensitive, strong and supportive children. In this issue we proudly present the most outstanding children of all Banderas Bay. Congratulations to all the children of 10.
