Turismo médico, un negocio muy saludable
El Turismo médico se ha convertido en un tema de  interés a nivel mundial y nuestro país se encuentra en la lista de los destinos con mayor potencial en ese campo.  Vallarta  es una ciudad idónea para el descanso, la relajación y el  turismo médico,  el cual se está posicionando día a día en este importante y competido sector, gracias a la fuerte inversión que se ha realizado en los últimos años en infraestructura hospitalaria, equipos médicos, certificaciones, etc.,  para garantizar la confianza del paciente norteamericano y canadiense, quienes en buena proporción nos visitan con estos fines. De acuerdo con El Universal, se esperan 450 mil turistas clínicos en 2015, quienes harán una derrama de aproximadamente mil 350 millones de dólares. El Turismo Médico y de bienestar es, pues, un excelente filón para nuestro destino, ya que el paciente no solo viene con el médico especialista o al hospital, sino que se aloja  en un hotel, come en restaurantes, visita galerías, hace todo tipo de compras y siempre viaja acompañado. Es, sin lugar a dudas, una gran oportunidad para nuestra región, y es por esto que esta edición está dedicada a médicos especialistas que día a día están en constante capacitación, a la vanguardia en tecnología y que brindan seguridad, desarrollo social y económico a nuestra comunidad.
