Septiembre es un mes muy particular para todos los Vallartenses , se podría decir que está presente en la mente durante casi todo el año , nadie lo espera con regocijo y cuando llega contamos los días para que termine ,despectivamente le apodamos “Septihambre”. Un mes difícil para la industria turística y en un destino que no ha logrado diversificar su oferta, lo padece casi toda la población, los empresarios más dinámicos invierten en publicidad, diseñan interesantes estrategias para lograr captar clientes locales y nacionales, aprovechan esta etapa para remodelar, dar mantenimiento, capacitación etc., y estar en las mejores condiciones para recibir en grande la próxima la temporada invernal.
Nos gustaría que la presente administración hiciera otro tanto con la ciudad, ya que es tiempo vital para reparar calles, reforestar áreas verdes, hacer campaña de capacitación y concientización ciudadana sobre la importancia del turismo y como debe actuar cada uno de nosotros para lograr que cada visitante se lleve a casa una experiencia placentera e inolvidable; desde su llegada al aeropuerto, al caminar por las lindas calles de nuestro pueblo, al subir al trasporte público, al cruzar la calle, todo tiene que ser armonioso para recuperar ese añorado título de “La ciudad más amigable del mundo”.
Sin embargo este noveno mes del año: septiembre, es un mes especial para los mexicanos y los niños en particular pues nos recuerda la proeza, valentía de mujeres y hombres que han derramado su sangre por alcanzar los ideales de nuestra nación según cuenta nuestra historia oficial, así que aprovechamos con gran jubilo el puente para disfrutar de actividades y festejos al por mayor, recibimos turismo nacional proveniente de Guadalajara, Df y zona del bajío, por tres días vimos un Vallarta alegre y próspero lo que sin duda fue un respiro para la economía de nuestro destino.
Las fiestas patrias nos involucran a todos, hay que festejar con alegría pero también reflexionar sobre los avances de nuestro país, involucrarnos a fondo con las reformas y no perdernos con tantos distractores, una verdadera forma de amar a nuestro país y conmemorar las fiestas patrias es revisar cómo estamos ante los ojos del mundo, qué hacemos por la patria y qué nos falta para ser mejores mexicanos. Después podremos gritar a todo pulmón: ¡Viva México!

September is a very special month for all of Vallarta, one could say that it is present in our mind during almost all year round , no one is waiting for it with joy and when it arrives we count the days to finish, contemptuously we nicknamed it «Septihambre» (seventh hunger). A difficult month for the tourist industry and in a destination that has not been able to diversify its offer, almost the entire population suffer, the more dynamic entrepreneurs invest in advertising, design interesting strategies to achieve to capture local and national clients, taking advantage of this stage to remodeling, maintaining, servicing, training etc., and be in the best conditions to receive successfully the next winter season.
We would like this Administration to do the same with the city, as it is a vital time to repair streets, reforest green areas, make training campaign about the importance of tourism and public awareness, how every one of us should act to ensure that every visitor will carry home an enjoyable and unforgettable experience. From their arrival at the airport, to walking through the beautiful streets of our village, onto public transport and even crossing the streets, everything has to be harmonious for us to be able to recover that yearned title of «The friendliest city in the world».
However, this ninth month of the year: September, it is a special month for Mexicans and children in particular because it reminds us of the prowess, courage of men and women who have shed their blood to achieve the ideals of our nation as our official history tells us, so this is a perfect opportunity not to miss this bank day and enjoy all the activities and celebrations to the most. We receive national tourism from Guadalajara, Mexico City and area of the Bajío, for three days we saw a happy and prosperous Vallarta that undoubtedly was a welcome respite for the economy of our destination.
The patriotic fiestas involve us all, we have to celebrate with joy but also we need to reflect on the progress of our country, get heavily involved with the reforms, and not get bogged down with so many distractors. A true form of love to our country and commemorate the fiestas patrias is to review how we are in the eyes of the world, what we do for the country and that we need to do to be best Mexicans. Then we can shout to all lung: ¡Viva Mexico!
