PROYECTAN FILME EL LADO OSCURO DE LA LUZ, EN EL MARCO DEL FESTIVAL DE CINE DIVA

“El lado obscuro de la luz” es el nombre de la película dirigida por Hugo Carillo Brumbaug la cual fue presentada en el magnífico auditorio Juan Luis Cifuentes Lemus del centro universitario de la costa el día 13 de Febrero, donde homenajearon a Jose Carlos Ruiz por su gran contribución al cine nacional.
En el mismo evento, aparte del director arriba mencionado se encontraban Rodolfo Salazar, director del evento, y Eduardo Mendizábal el actor del personaje principal. Antes de presentar la película se convocó a una rueda de prensa en la que el director y actores informaron a los medios sobre la película y sus motivaciones.
Esta versa sobre un individuo que tras haber vivido una terrible niñez y tras varios asesinatos termina en la silla eléctrica, a la cual macabramente sobrevive, solo para terminar siendo asesinado por su abuelo, que fue el causante de todos los trastornos psicológicos que vivió a lo largo de su vida.
El nombre de la película es extraído de un versículo de la biblia “En el nombre de la luz se guía por la obscuridad” explico el director. El actor Jose Carlos Ruiz comento sobre la terrible situación del cine mexicano y lo necesario que es apoyo por parte de la autoridad, después de todo, como el mismo dijo “Un mensaje de 60 milímetros no se olvida jamás”.

«El lado obscuro de la luz» is the name of the film directed by Hugo Carillo Brumbaug which was presented at the magnificent auditorium Juan Luis Cifuentes Lemus at the Centro Universitario de la Costa the day 13 of February, where they paid tribute to Jose Carlos Ruiz for his great contribution to national cinema.
At the same event, apart from the aforementioned director, there was Rodolfo Salazar, the event director, and actor Eduardo Mendizabal which was one of the main characters. Before presenting the film there was a press conference in which the director and actors informed the media about the film and its motivations.
This is about a guy who after living a terrible childhood and after several murders ends in the electric chair, which macabre survives, only to end up being killed by his grandfather, who was the cause of all psychological disorders that the main character had to live throughout his life.
The name of the film is taken from a verse of the Bible «In the name of the light is guided by the dark» explained the director. The actor Jose Carlos Ruiz commented on the plight of Mexican cinema and how is necessary for it to be supported by the authority, after all, as he himself said, «A message of 60 mm is never forgotten».
